SmartNode 4830 allows you to add packet voice to a network, simultaneously ensuring access routing with native V.35/X.21 synchronous serial connection. Adding of up to eight telephone lines and combining them with Internet and VPN access through a single PPP line or Frame Relay.

SmartNode 4830 is supplied with a configuration from two up to eight analog FXS telephone ports and two or four FXO ports. Two 10/100baseT ports can be used for LAN, IPSec VPN and DMZ connections. Integrated X.21/V.35 WAN port provides direct access to IP via PPP and Frame Relay. 4830 supports the industry standards of VoIP signaling protocols SIP, H.323, T.38 Fax-Relay and Fax/Modem Bypass and works with all leading Softswitches and VoIP services.
The Quality of Services (QoS) has enhanced capabilities in prioritization of voice and management of the traffic. DownStreamQoS™ makes sure that telephone communications are without failures, even under the conditions of bad connection with the Internet. Labeling of packets according to 802.1p, TOS and DiffServ allow integration into managed QoS networks.
