Mediatrix 1124 is a high quality VoIP-gateway that connects major regional offices or buildings with multiple tenants to the IP network, while preserving investment in analog telephones and fax machines. This device allows service providers to quickly and efficiently deploy their own medium size solution, which will be ideal for connecting of a regional office to large private networks.

Mediatrix 1124 has one 10/100 Base-T interface and 24 FXS ports on board, provides cost-effective VoIP deployments in medium-sized offices or in the area of operation of buildings with multiple tenants. Mediatrix 1124 has additional advantage of providing simultaneous support for codecs with high compression rate on each analog voice port, thus saving significant share of the bandwidth.
Like all other devices of Mediatrix family, 1124FXS model has a web-interface, giving users easy access to the initial setup unit. Also, the device can be auto configured by extracting encrypted configuration from TFTP or HTTP, making installation secure and transparent to the end user. In addition, an optional intelligent PSTN bypass allows Mediatrix 1124 users to make emergency calls and maintain access to telephone services in the event of a power outage or network failure.
