Audiocodes MP-20x series
Audiocodes MP-20x series is a low cost and at the same time multi-functional analog telephone adapters that offer conventional connectivity of phone and fax devices to VoBB broadband voice services.
Thus, a series of MediaPack MP-20x gateways is a series of telephone adapters, which are well suited for commercial VoIP deployments. MP-20x series are designed for the rapid construction of private and small office / home office (SOHO) VoIP. MP-20x uses a typical broadband Internet connection (cable, DSL modem or fixed connection, Wi-Fi) and establish communication with the service provider through the IP connections link. It supports a rich feature set for users with such service features as caller ID, call forwarding / call redirecting, call waiting. MP-20x series offers a versatile long-term user experience of migrating to VoIP services. In addition to everything, MP-20x series has a built-in router and can maintain a connection to a computer at home.
Audiocodes used their VoIPPerfect device architecture, accumulating its experience in creating solutions for IP telephony. MP-20x series combines superior voice quality and advanced features for end users, such as T.38 Fax Relay and G.168-2004 echo cancellation. Narrowband voice codecs can be used simultaneously with all phone ports maintaining costly bandwidth.
MP-20x series is compatible with all the leading companies in the production of softswitches and SIP servers for deployment in different IP networks.
Feature is useful for managers or senior agents of call centers. It allows monitoring phone calls between agents and clients. Silent monitoring is usually used for educating purposes, but on continuous basis in order to ensure the quality of service provided to clients and to improve productivity. At the same time, before the connection with the agent, the caller has to be informed that the conversation will be monitored with the purpose of improving service. The agents however are not aware of the fact that they are being monitored.
