Aastra 610D is a new DECT standard terminal from the entry level range of DECT terminals. This device supports GAP for basic functionality and can be universally used with all Aastra PBX devices.

Aastra 610D terminal has a large 2-inch backlit graphic display, which displays information and controls. Additionally, 610D device supports such features as remote download of software, which allows saving on technical support.
Main Characteristics: 2” monochrome LCD display (176 x 160 pixels) Phone book for 200 entries, with 5 possible options: office, private and mobile number, address, email and the ability to assign different ringtones for contacts Noise cancellation filter for noisy environments 44 polyphonic and 8 normal ring tones with automatic volume level Up to 5 user profiles (silent, meeting, general etc) Loudspeaker 2.5 mm headphone jack 2 programmable soft-keys 3 color LED indicator

VoIP Favors SIPSession Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a text-based standard put in place by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and is the primary protocol for Voice over Internet Protocol services. SIP is similar to a MGCP in that it's a signaling protocol that can create, maintain and terminate sessions in IP-based networks. These sessions include multimedia conferencing and two-way phone calls. SIP protocol can run on User Datagram Protocol (UDP), Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) and Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) because it was created to function independently from the underlying Transport Layer as an Application Layer.
