Н.263 – the codec for video compression, initially created for low-bit rate video conferences. Nowadays it has found a wider use in the Internet; it is used in Flash Video, YouTube, and Google Video.
Н.264 – the standard of compressing videos, meant for achieving a high level compression video by keeping high quality image. It is used in digital television of high-definition (HDTV) and in many other areas of digital video.
IDC projected over 9 billion minutes of voice traffic to travel over worldwide packet networks in 2000, exceeding 135 billion minutes in 2004. Service revenue is projected at 1.6 billion in 2000 and 18.7 billion in 2004.
