Global Axcess was founded in 2000 through private capital investments as a holding company for operations in the U.S. and Europe.In 2003, the company merged with Aaron Communications, LLC of Croatia to create one of the first companies dealing with international voice traffic in Central Europe. After the merger, Ivan Franicevic, the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Aaron Communications, joined the Board of Directors of Global Axcess as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.The company grew quickly by integrating the local expertise in Europe with the latest telecommunications strategies and technologies from the U.S.
