Binhost Technologies (formally known as Binhost LLC) is a quality provider of services to the Internet community. We pride ourselves in offering a combination of great prices, uncompromised service, and easy customization. We believe that service is what sells and that customers should receive quality and service in return for their money. Our servers are based in a secure operations center in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, offering multiple high-quality, high-speed lines to the Internet for maximum response and fault-tolerance. The servers are backed by uninterruptable power supplies and generators to ensure that downtime is minimal. Because we have full control over each server, we are able to provide solutions and customizations that other providers may not have the ability to produce. Some providers implement link redundancy via a SONET ring. Binhost believes that true redundancy only comes from multiple paths from multiple providers. This means that the links enter the building at different spots, arriving at the builidng from different paths, and utilize completely separate infrastrutures. Very few providers offer this level of system redundancy. We encourage our customers and potential clients to contact us regarding any and all questions that they might have. If you are looking for solutions for your hosting needs, please look around and consider Binhost. We guarantee you won`t receive a better deal anywhere else.

SDP Protocols Are Used To Transmit Media Session Information

SDP Protocols Are Used To Transmit Media Session InformationIn 1998, the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) published the specification for a Session Description Protocol or SDP as a format that describes parameters for streaming media. The original IETF Proposed Standard was updated in 2006 as RFC 4566. Although the SDP was created as a feature of Session Announcement Protocol (SAP), it can be used with Real-time Transport Protocol, Real-time Streaming Protocol (RTSP), and Session Initiation Protocol, as well as a standalone protocol. Parameter negotiation, session announcement and session invitation are included in the descriptive sessions from the SDP protocol. Rather than transmit data like other types of protocols, an SDP negotiates between media type endpoints, format and properties involved. A session begins when a connection is established, and the session is terminated only after every endpoint is no longer participating.
