The Holding is founded in 1999 and now includes the following companies: Aurora Communications UK, Aurora Communications USA, Infotel Data Communications and TASS-INFO (joint venture with ITAR-TASS).The core of the network, designed by Cisco Systems` specialists in cooperation with engineers from INFOTEL, is topologically split into three big "stars", which are interconnected by dedicated fiber-optic channels with multiple backups. The first network management center is located in New-York and concentrates communication channels from the USA, Latin America and Japan, the second point of presence - in London - concentrates channels from European capitals. The third one - in Moscow - aggregates communication channels from Russian cities and Asian destinations.
